Who are the courses for?

The Cat Owner's Guide to at Home Cat Grooming and Cat Owner's Guide to Kitten Bathing courses are for Cat Owners, including videos on bathing, blow-drying, tool and product selection, and combing.

The Professional courses ACCG Australian Certified Cat Groomer and PCCG Professional Certified Cat Groomer are designed for Professional Groomers, Vet Nurses, Catteries, Pet Professionals, or those looking to become Professional Cat Groomers.

The Cat Owner's Guide to Nail Trimming is for anyone interested in learning.

Are these courses online or in person?

All of the above courses are online only, with information, videos, handouts, and in-salon pictures of real cats I have groomed.

In-person training is available from May 2026 and is only available in Perth, Western Australia. Please email us at learncatgrooming@gmail.com to enquire about hands-on training and seminars.

What kind of Cat Grooming techniques do you teach?

I teach low-stress handling and proven slow introduction techniques. For clipping, I use all lengths from #10 to 3F blades and Comb Clips, bathing, and de-shedding.

Do you demonstrate de-matting techniques?

No, I do not recommend de-matting cats (combing out large mats), there is too much risk and adverse effects of doing so.

Do I need to complete the course within an allocated time?

No, you may take as long as you like.

How many times can I view the videos/content?

You may view the videos and content as many times as you need before you finish the course.

What if I need help?

We provide support through our Facebook page, discussion groups, and email. 

Will I receive a certificate at the end of my course?

Yes, those taking the professional courses will receive a certificate upon completion of all required assessments.
